
为促进儿童与青少年的健康成长和社会融合,全面提升其社会福祉与健康水平,有效应对当前儿童与青少年保护所面临的区域性和全球性挑战,广东外语外贸大学社会与公共管理学院、圣若瑟大学健康科学学院、罗格斯大学社会工作学院将于2025年12月13日—14日在广东外语外贸大学(中国广州)联合举办“2025年儿童及青少年健康与福祉国际研讨会”。本次研讨会是一个跨学科、跨界别、跨区域的学术交流和知识生产平台,来自相关领域的政策制定者、专家学者及实务工作者将齐聚一堂,共同探讨儿童及青少年健康与福祉的重要议题。热忱欢迎来自社会工作、心理学、教育、公共卫生、医学科学及其他相关领域的专家学者及实务工作者投稿与会,现将征稿事宜通知如下。
一、征稿主题
1.儿童及青少年心理健康与数字干预的全球实践。针对儿童及青少年心理健康危机(如抑郁、焦虑、校园欺凌等)的全球性挑战,探讨数字工具在筛查、干预和长期支持中的创新应用。
2.弱势儿童及青少年群体的社会融合与政策创新。聚焦留守、残障、流动儿童及青少年等群体,分析社会融合的障碍与支持策略。
3.人工智能与儿童及青少年健康服务的伦理边界。探讨AI技术(如智能诊断、个性化教育)在儿童及青少年健康领域的应用潜力与伦理风险,回应技术滥用、隐私保护及算法偏见等问题。
4.气候变化与儿童及青少年健康风险的交叉研究。分析极端气候事件(如高温、空气污染)对儿童及青少年生理与心理健康的长期影响,提出适应性干预措施。
5.公共服务的儿童及青少年友好型转型。针对包括中国在内的发展中国家儿童及青少年相关资源(如医疗、教育资源等)匮乏的问题,探讨儿童及青少年公共服务的普惠化和高质量供给。
6.儿童及青少年数字素养与网络暴力防治。探讨数字时代儿童及青少年网络行为的复杂性,研究网络欺凌的预防机制、平台责任与家庭-学校-社会协同教育模式,回应全球范围内的网络暴力泛化趋势。
7.跨文化视角下的儿童及青少年福祉比较研究。通过国际比较,分析不同文化背景下儿童及青少年福祉政策的成效与局限,为全球儿童及青少年权益保障提供多元相互借鉴。
8.儿童及青少年福祉的国别研究。分析不同社会体制、不同发展阶段、不同文化传统下的国家的儿童及青少年福祉在理念、政策、制度、模式等方面的异同和镜鉴。
9.儿童及青少年社会组织服务与研究。探讨以儿童及青少年福祉保护为目标的社会组织在全球范围内的发展与运行现状、困境及未来趋势。
10.其他与研讨会相关的议题。如“一老一小”、儿童及青少年友好型社区营造、儿童及青少年家庭教养和亲子关系等相关议题。

Call for Papers for the 2025 International Symposium on Children and Youth Health and Well-being
To promote the healthy growth and social integration of children and youth, comprehensively improve their social well-being and health, and effectively address current regional and global challenges facing children and youth protection, the School of Public Administration of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, the School of Health Sciences of the University of Saint Joseph, and the School of Social Work of Rutgers University will jointly host the "2025 International Symposium on Children and Youth Health and Well-being" in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies(Guangzhou, China), on December 13–14, 2025. This symposium will serve as an interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral, and cross-regional platform for academic exchange and knowledge production, bringing together policymakers, experts, scholars, and practitioners from relevant fields to discuss important issues related to children and youth health and well-being. Experts, scholars, and practitioners from social work, psychology, education, public health, medical science, and other related fields are warmly welcome to submit papers. The call for papers is hereby notified as follows.
Ⅰ. Call for Papers
1. Global Practices in Children and Youth Mental Health and Digital Interventions. This section addresses the global challenges of children and youth mental health crises (such as depression, anxiety, and school bullying) and explores the innovative use of digital tools in screening, intervention, and long-term support.
2. Social integration and policy innovation for vulnerable children and youth groups. Focusing on left-behind children, children with disabilities, and migrant children and youth, studies analyze barriers to social integration and supports strategies.
3. The ethical boundaries of artificial intelligence and child and adolescent health services. Studies explore the potential and ethical risks of AI technologies (such as intelligent diagnosis and personalized education) in children and youth health, addressing issues such as technology misuse, privacy protection, and algorithmic bias.
4. Interdisciplinary research on climate change and health risks for children and youth. Analyze the long-term impacts of extreme climate events (such as high temperatures and air pollution) on the physical and mental health of children and adolescents, and propose adaptive intervention measures.
5. Child- and youth-friendly transformation of public services. Addressing the scarcity of child- and youth-related resources (such as healthcare and education) in developing countries, including China, this initiative explores the universalization and high-quality provision of public services for children and youth.
6. Children and Youth Digital Literacy and Cyberbullying Prevention. This section explores the complexity of children and youth online behavior in the digital age, researching cyberbullying prevention mechanisms, platform responsibility, and collaborative family-school-society education models, addressing the global trend of widespread cyberbullying.
7. Comparative research on child and youth welfare from a cross-cultural perspective. Through international comparison, this study analyzes the effectiveness and limitations of child and youth welfare policies in different cultural contexts, providing diverse and mutually beneficial references for the protection of the rights and interests of children and youth worldwide.
8. Country-specific research on children and youth well-being. Analyze the similarities and differences in concepts, policies, systems, and models of child and youth well -being across countries with different social systems, development stages, and cultural traditions, and draw lessons for these countries.
9. Services and research on social organizations for children and youth. This section explores the current status, challenges, and future trends of social organizations dedicated to protecting the welfare of children and youth worldwide.
10. Other topics related to the symposium, such as the relationship between the elderly and children, the creation of child- and youth-friendly communities, family education for children and youth, and parent-child relationships.
Ⅱ. Important Deadlines
1. Deadline for submission of abstracts in English: September 25, 2025 (Thursday);
2. Deadline for admission feedback of English abstracts: October 12, 2025 (Sunday);
3. Deadline for submission of full papers in Chinese/English: November 16, 2025 (Sunday);
4. Symposium Dates: December 13-14, 2025 (Saturday-Sunday) (Specific schedule to be notified separately) .
III. Requirements for Paper Submission
1. Requirements for Chinese/English abstracts
(1) Abstract in English with keywords: Approximately 300 words, including research background, purpose, methods, findings, discussion, and conclusions. No more than five keywords should be included, separated by semicolons.
(2) Author information must be attached, including name, nationality, institution, research direction, position/title, contact number, and email address.
2. Requirements for full text in Chinese/English
(1) Word Count: English papers should not exceed 4,000 words, and Chinese papers should not exceed 6,000 words.
(2) Content: title, abstract, keywords, main text, figures, references, etc.
(3) Author information must be attached, including name, nationality, institution, research direction, title/position, contact number, and email address.

Ⅳ. Submission method
Please send your abstract (named "Name-Affiliation-2025 International Symposium on Children and Youth Health and Well-being" on both the document and email) to the conference organizing committee (gdufs_ggxy@gdufs.edu.cn) by Thursday, September 25, 2025. The conference organizing committee will conduct an anonymous review by experts and notify you of the acceptance status by email by Sunday, October 12. Selected applicants must send their full paper to the conference organizing committee by Sunday, November 16, and be prepared for a 15-minute presentation.
