BirminghamInternational Summer School 2016

The University of Birmingham launched its BirminghamInternational Summer School (BISS) 2016 earlier this year. We are delighted tosee that applications from international students across the world are coming infor BISS.

This is a gentle reminder for interested students of the keyapplication dates:

• Early     application deadline: 31 March 2016 (Applicants     who apply before 31 March 2016 will be eligible for a discount of £150     towards fees)

• BISS     application deadline: 22 May 2016

There are five programmes on offer in 2016 including three newprogrammes as follows: 

• British     Cultural Heritage Programme

• Mathematical     Finance and Financial Time Series Analysis

• Film     & Media (NEW)

• Global     Energy Systems – Powering the     Future (NEW)

• Biomedical     Sciences: From Laboratory Bench to Hospital Bedside (NEW)

All programmes are delivered by University faculty who areexperts in their field. Where programmes are formally assessed students willhave the opportunity to earn credits for their study. Students will also havethe opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the fascinating culture ofBritain through an extensive social programme.

The programme dates of the International Summer School are: 18July–5 August 2016.
